5 things to do in Milan this weekend
From March 21st until 23rd

March 21st, 2025
After an endless and very long winter, spring has finally arrived (at least technically). It seems, however, that the flower season will take a while to bloom, as the forecast shows a rainy weekend, with no improvement expected next week either. Still, if months of freezing cold didn’t stop the Milanese, a little rain surely won’t now that the days are longer and allergy season hasn’t fully kicked in. So, if you don’t have plans yet, here’s a list of 5 things to do in Milan this weekend.
To eat - Ultra Milano
Ultra Milano couldn’t be more eclectic, but maybe that’s exactly why it works so well. Between Neapolitan pizza (worthy of the Gambero Rosso guide) and an international cocktail bar, this spot in the heart of Porta Romana serves a menu that starts at dinner and runs late into the night. In short, it is perfect for a gloomy date night.
Via Pier Lombardo, 1
To chill - Il Gruppo Crack
A never-before-seen project with strong historical significance comes to Galleria Gracis: from March 20 to June 20, 2025, the spotlight is on the Gruppo Crack, a Roman collective born in 1960 and made up of eight Italian artists including Mimmo Rotella, Piero Dorazio, and Giulio Turcato, alongside poet and critic Cesare Vivaldi. Curated by Laura Cherubini, with critical insight from Francesco Guzzetti, the Milan exhibition tells the story of this brief but intense artistic experience for the first time.
Piazza Castello, 16
To shop - Milano Record Fair
The Milano Record Fair is back for its second edition, an event entirely dedicated to vinyl lovers. With various vendors, workshops, and talks featuring big names in the industry—plus an epic afterparty at Tunnel Club—Arca will turn into a record lover’s paradise over the next two days. Entry is free with RSVP on dice.fm.
Via Rimini, 38
To discover - No Time No Space
Sculpture as poetry: Saturday, March 22 at 5:00 PM marks the opening of Roberto Fiasella’s solo exhibition at Fondazione Luciana Matalon, in the presence of Rita Ramella and critics Lodovico Gierut and Alberto Moioli. The show features a selection of works where bronze comes to life through light and memory, with the horse as a symbolic figure of strength and freedom. With a play between smooth and raw textures, the sculpture becomes a story, breath, and transformation. A chance to explore Fiasella’s poetic universe, suspended between tradition and modernity.
Foro Bonaparte, 67
To party - MILANOSULSET @ Apollo
The MILANOSULSET format returns to Apollo this Saturday, this time with standout guests: Fiona in the main room and none other than Marcelo Burlon in the backroom. Now one of the most engaging events in Milan’s nightlife, MILANOSULSET mixes major names from the local scene with emerging talents, weekend after weekend. Tickets are available on dice.fm.
