5 things to do in Paris this weekend
From March 14th to 16th
March 13th, 2025
After the tidal wave caused by Fashion Week, the city finally seems to have regained its usual rhythm. The week is now coming to an end, and the weekend is on the horizon. It’s time to enjoy the "mild" temperatures by stepping out of your cocoon because the streets are buzzing with activities to suit all tastes. Discover now what the city has in store for you this weekend.
To eat: At Mini Bar with Alec Van Branteghem
From March 13 to 15, Alec Van Branteghem takes over Mini Bar! The Rue de Lancry kitchen goes pop-up mode while the regular chef takes a break. At the helm? A Canadian well-versed in the kitchens of Joe Beef, who has also honed his craft at Lolo Bistrot and Dandelion. For this occasion, he’s testing Asian-inspired dishes ahead of his arrival at Bang Bang in April. No set menu yet, but if it's anything like his usual creations, expect something generous, well-balanced, and maybe even a few surprises on the plate.
23 Rue de Lancry, 75010 Paris
To discover: Jakman at the Ekow Gallery
Coffee is waiting, pausing, a pretext. For Jakman, it’s mainly a playground where Shaka, his signature character, drifts between daydream and reality. In CAFÉE, his new solo show at 3e Cercle, the artist dissects the micro-society that forms between sips of espresso. Rushed strangers, silent regulars, servers who’ve seen it all—each scene captures that familiar tension between solitude and urban hustle. An exhibition to see until April 4. With or without sugar.
20 rue de la Pierre Levée, 75011 Paris
To have fun: At the Vintage Fair at the Pierre Cardin Museum
The Vintage Fair is back, and this time it’s all about luxury. On March 15 and 16, the former Pierre Cardin museum transforms into a high-end retro haven, with 1,200 m² of fashion gems to shop. Expect three floors of curated fashion archives, from the YSL Mondrian dress to the Rolex Day-Date, along with Hermès scarves and Vivier shoes. Chic, rare, and highly coveted. The cultural highlight? An exhibition dedicated to 1970s Céline, curated by Anouschka, a former model and seasoned collector. A weekend to browse, admire, and, let’s be honest, dream a little.
5 rue Saint-Merri, 75004 Paris
To shop: At the Merma Earth showroom
The Merma Earth pop-up is coming to an end, and if you haven’t set foot in Vie Projects yet, it’s now or never. Since March 7, the brand’s Paris showroom has transformed 55 Boulevard Beaumarchais into a textile and hair laboratory, where FW25/26 pieces meet a temporary hair salon designed with Capelli. Here, braiding is more than an aesthetic gesture—it’s a language, a link between past and present, a living archive woven into every twist. The last slots to see, touch, and experience? Until March 15, from noon to 6 p.m. After that, curtains down.
55 Bd Beaumarchais, 75003 Paris
To party: Carnaval do Brasil at Cabaret Sauvage
Tired of seeing half your Instagram feed living their best lives under 35°C while you’re stuck in the grey? Good news: on March 15, Cabaret Sauvage offers a one-way ticket to Rio—no airport strikes, no currency exchange needed. On the agenda: Roda de samba, bloco, batucada, DJ sets, and Brazilian street food. So, get your glitter on and wear your best feathers!
