5 things to do in Paris this weekend From August 30th to August 1st

As the Paralympic Games are in full swing, the city seems unusually calm. However, the week is coming to an end, and the weekend is on the horizon. Meanwhile, summer festivities and good weather are playing extra time before back to school arrives, so it’s time to enjoy the mild temperatures and long days by venturing out of your cocoon. More than ever, the streets are buzzing with activities to suit all tastes. Find out now what the city has in store for you this weekend

Where to Eat: Chez Superposé

Superposé, located on Rue Saint-Maur, is the result of the adventure of four friends passionate about cooking: Charlotte Billecoq, Lucien Prieur, Gabriel Dommergue, and Victor Pouvreau. After a year of touring events and investing in various pop-up restaurants, this quartet has finally found its own space, blending friendliness and culinary creativity. At lunchtime, this hybrid place offers reinvented club sandwiches, combining traditional flavors with touches of innovation. In the evening, the menu expands to include creative small plates, accompanied by biodynamically grown wines, carefully selected to enhance every dish. Known for its warm atmosphere, it is set to host the talented chef Juan Pablo Rojas Pineda in residence from September 3rd to 27th. The chef, whose cuisine is inspired by his travels, encounters, and various forms of art, will offer an innovative menu that promises to surprise the palates of good food enthusiasts. Among the events not to be missed are a four-hands dinner on September 5th and a special Colombian flavors evening on September 21st.

Where to Shop: At Een.earth

E E N, the promising brand by Marion Gomez, was born from the desire to create fashion that combines elegance and functionality. The young designer, inspired by her own needs and passion for creations she could proudly wear, launched E E N to design clothing and accessories that are not only refined but also practical. Her first collection, "L’Harmattan", is inspired by the Saharan wind that blows across West Africa, particularly Benin, between November and March. Through this collection, Marion captures the essence of this dry season with radically shifting temperatures, contrasting warm pieces with an environment that is both hostile and fascinating. Her mentorship with Jean-Paul Gaultier has not only deepened her technical expertise but also strengthened her ability to communicate her brand's unique identity. Today, Marion aims to expand E E N, creating collections that continue to honor African cultural richness while fitting seamlessly into the international fashion world.

Where to Party: At Jardin 21 with Pygments Records

To close its second act in style, Pygments LAB will take over Jardin21 on August 30th, transforming this green haven into a vibrant music venue. Nestled in a former 19th-century orchard, Jardin21, which has become a flourishing cultural space since 2018, skillfully blends vegetation and various arts. On this sunny day, residents In-Tan and Artifak will handle the opening and closing, while the @lamiaou_records crew will follow with an electrifying b2b2b. The talented @koudur_ from @boldcollectif will enchant us with a set between Italo and Acid, and @meli__mena, after technical issues during her first set, will deliver a highly anticipated performance.
