Where to eat: Chez Bing Sutt with Là Lôt London
From June 27 to 29, Eric Wan from Là Lôt London will be settling at Bing Sutt to prepare modern Vietnamese dishes inspired by the bustling streets of Saigon, perfectly paired with a selection of natural wines. After leaving finance for haute cuisine, Eric honed his skills at the Michelin-starred restaurant Dinner by Heston Blumenthal. Since then, he has been developing his modern Vietnamese concept, Lá Lôt, by organizing pop-ups throughout London. To discover: District 23 by Youssouf Fofana
Youssouf Fofana, creative director of Jordan Brand for the Olympic Games, has created District 23, a space dedicated to the youth of Paris to build a community. Having grown up dreaming of wearing Jordans, Fofana now wants to offer young people the opportunities he never had. As a child, he spent his weekends shopping with his parents at Tati Barbès, a place he now frequents for a very different reason: to host District 23. This new space allows young Parisians to practice sports and discover fashion while connecting with other members of the African diaspora. Fofana, founder of the brand Maison Château Rouge, continues to leave his mark on fashion by blending his Senegalese roots with his French influence. With District 23, he aims to create a community for young black Parisians, offering them resources and a sense of belonging.

Where to party: At the after-party of Tassiana Aït-Tahar’s opening with 9house
After exploring the exhibition "Kids Turned Out Fine" by the artist Tassiana Aït-Tahar on June 27, the festivities will continue with a special after-party organized by 9house, the hybrid format of the creative studio Neuf. The exhibition presented at Paname Art Café from June 27 to September 4 offers an immersion into the reality of children from the Morro da Providencia favela in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Having started her journey at the Kourtrajmé school and enriched her artistic perspective during a residency at Casa Amarela in 2022, the artist has captured with sensitivity and authenticity the moments of carefree and spontaneity of the young residents of this community. Through a series of colorful portraits and an engaging installation, she challenges the usual clichés associated with reports on favelas, preferring an approach that honors the personality, joy of life, and individuality of her subjects.
