The D'Innocenzo brothers directed a video for Kanye West
To the tune of "Miss Miss Westie"
February 7th, 2024
Just a few hours are left before the debut of Vultures, the new studio album by Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign, and even fewer remain until the listening party at the United Center in Chicago on February 8th at 9:00 PM US time. We already have enough spoilers - maybe even too many. The latest, in chronological order, concerns the official tracklist of the album printed on the back of a shirt worn by North West during a usual stroll with her father Ye. Meanwhile, the rapper seems to have no intention of stopping with gimmicks and strategies to increase hype around his album. Today, he shared on his Instagram profile a snippet of the music video for the track Talking / Once Again, which marks North West's debut as an artist and features Kanye himself portrayed with his new $850,000 titanium grillz.
The video was directed by the Roman duo composed of twins Damiano and Fabio D'Innocenzo, two highly appreciated figures in the Italian cinema scene. Their latest film, America Latina, stands out for its unique and recognizable cinematography, which the rapper likely appreciated greatly. Several days ago, rumors began to surface about a probable collaboration between the D'Innocenzo brothers and Kanye West. On Reddit, a user noted how Fabio D'Innocenzo hinted, via an Instagram comment, that the two may have worked alongside Kanye on other projects as well: at this point, we expect to see more music videos from Vultures, a project that Kanye may have refined also from a visual perspective.
