As the Christmas season approaches, it's time to prepare for the holidays. So, while you finish your holiday gift shopping, we have gathered 5 activities to do before your well-deserved break. From a moving exhibition on human relationships to a restaurant offering classic French dishes, and a unique party in the basements of the famous Palais Tokyo museum, discover what the city has to offer this weekend.
Where to Eat - Bouillon
A true pillar of French culture and cuisine, Bouillon has been charming Parisians and tourists since its establishment in the 1860s. In the spirit of the holidays, why not go for the classics. With its timeless bistro-style ambiance, Bouillon is the perfect place to surround yourself with friends and family to enjoy the best of French cuisine. Their menu remains unchanged, always offering the best of what French chefs have to offer, all at a reasonable price. We suggest starting with a grand classic: The egg mayonnaise or a goat cheese salad with nuts and bacon. As for main courses, why not start the holidays with a classic rib steak, served with crispy fries and a salad, or with a duck confit. Moreover, what is a French meal without cheese? Bouillon offers a selection of authentic French cheeses: Brie de Meaux AOC, St Nectaire AOC, or a mixed board composed of a variety of decadent cheeses. And for dessert? Of course, a pistachio crème brûlée or the classic chocolate fondant accompanied by delicious vanilla ice cream. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, and although they don't take reservations, it's definitely worth waiting in line to savor the delights offered by one of its establishments around the city.
