5 things to do during Copenhagen Fashion Week Shopping, chill and food for your stay in the Danish capital during Fashion Week

Copenhagen Fashion Week is now just around the corner, an event that goes far beyond fashion by attracting hundreds of fashion insiders - and others - to the Danish capital in search of a less stifling climate than the one they left behind. That's why we've created a guide of five practical tips for making the most of your stay in Copenhagen, between dinner and an invigorating bath between shows.

Visit Møntergade in the central part of Copenhagen

Møntergade is a small street located in the heart of Copenhagen. Here you will find the beta store by Heliot Emil, which is their new temporary store, and it opens on the 8th of August. It's a great chance to visit one of Copenhagen's most innovative brands. While on Møntergade, stop by Another Aspect and La Cabra, a store merged together into a multiple universe store. Enjoy the stunning interior of the store, mixing brutalist elements with natural wood, woven fabric, and sleek metallic rails. Experience the beauty of Danish Oak in its natural habitat while enjoying some of the world's best coffee served by La Cabra.

Eat at Donda Deli

Copenhagen is packed with small, intimate, and delightful restaurants. Donda Deli, located in Vesterbro, is no exception. It's a small deli and eatery focusing on Latin American flavors, drawing inspiration from Peru and Mexico's vibrant and diverse cuisines. The menu is crafted with Danish-sourced ingredients. After enjoying the tasting menu, stop by one of the nearby natural wine bars before heading to the meatpacking district or attending one of the Fashion Week parties.

Go for a swim at La Banchina

Find the time to soak up some sun and enjoy the ability to swim in the harbors of Copenhagen. All around the city, there are designated areas for swimming. Make your way out to Refshaleøen where you will find the amazing La Banchina, a small boat house now converted into a 14-seat walk-in restaurant and wine bar. Surrounded by water, the pier of the boat house is transformed into a sun-soaking podium. Come early to get a nice spot and enjoy their lunch, which is all-natural, organic, biodynamic, and locally sourced.

Attend one of the many Fashion Week parties

Fashion Week is known for its notorious parties, and Copenhagen Fashion Week is no exception. The city is flooded with opportunities to enjoy these parties. NAKED Copenhagen is throwing a block party on the 9th of August to celebrate their newly opened store, presenting a strong lineup of international and national DJs, including redkoffee (FR) and FLADY (DK) - a party you cannot miss. On Thursday 9th, Soulland has teamed up with none other than Sunny to host a party. The lineup includes Mr. Wix (NLD) and Thomas Mondeme (FR), both known for their cultural approach to early 2000s hip-hop mixed with the new generation. VINNY is presenting ‘The Vibe’, a party in the meatpacking district at the club KB3. VINNY has gathered their family and friends, resulting in a strong lineup consisting of DJs and Danish musicians.

Go shopping in Nørrebro

Nørrebro is Copenhagen's culturally diverse neighborhood, which is less touristy and crowded by tourists. Yet, it's home to some of the best secondhand shops and design stores. Spend the day looking through tons of vintage stores. Elmegade is located at the center of Nørrebro and is home to one of the two Acne Studios archives, a must-visit. While wandering around Nørrebro, grab some Danish pastries and walk towards the lakes to enjoy.
