Born from the inspiration that came from many train journeys, “Let’s make love vicino o mare” is the new project of Giotto Calendoli made in Brusciano, near Naples, in collaboration with Tramandars. A unique work of its kind, a 10x10 mural depicting a child who, according to its creator, «almost adolescent begins to approach his feelings and sense of romance». The mural is to all intents and purposes a work in motion, visible only along the circumvesuviana Naples - Baiano and for this reason designed especially to beautify a place often overlooked by the distracted gaze of commuters who travel that road every day.
Also for this reason, speaking of the impact that this type of work can have, Giotto replied hoping that “Let’s make love vicino o mare” can create «more access and possibilities in being able to do this type of activity that in Italy, unfortunately, is not so easy and even less fast to understand». A work that wants to combine art to the revaluation of areas often forgotten, but that also wants to be a forerunner of the possibility of giving life to new works and new activities that can carry on the philosophy of Giotto Calendoli and "Let's make love vicino o mare".
Precisely for this reason, when we asked him where he would like to make his next work, Giotto revealed: «More than where for me it matters a lot the elements that lead you to the place. So I think the next one will be the arrival at the sea... ».
