Garage Rap, or Grime, is the last frontier of the dancehall, the best that London has to offer. Syncopated rhythms combined with a fresh style far different from American MCs shiny opulence, the Grime fashion is the revolution we’re seeing on the streets.
Speaking about grime scene means talking about the collective independent of Boy Better Know. Formed in 2005 as a record label by brothers Joseph and Jamie Adenuga, for the records: Skepta and JME, BBK immediately shows a strong attachment to the fashion industry by launching in the first period of activity a T-shirt eponymous line. The sure didn’t know how their style would have influenced contemporary athleisure.
