These days Nike's in the eye of the storm, as news about the Air Max 97 and the much anticipated Air Mag are spreading all around the world.
In the wake of Nike Air Max 97's Italian exclusive launch happening today, One Block Down has collaborated with the sportswear giant in order to make the event ever more special.
The Milanese store asked Los Angeles-based conceptual artist Matthew Senna, master of sneakers' customization, to unleash his creativity on the Air Max. He deconstructed the shoes, dipping into paint every single component, and his magical touch turned the sneakers into pure gold. The result is a fanzine comprising of awesome images which document Senna's work, along with One Block Down's editorial photographs of the Air Max 97, as well as other versions of the iconic Air Max, glowing gold, silver and bronze.
