Bella Hadid stars in JW Anderson FW16 campaign

For the first time since the debut of his eponymous label in 2008, JW Anderson tapped a famous model for his FW16 campaign. Namely, he chose Bella Hadid, Gigi’s younger sister, who has actually nothing to do with the androgynous and futurist aesthetic of the Irish designer.
The images however, shot by Jamie Hawkesworth and styled by Benjamin Bruno, look coherent with the brand’s spirit and match the full figure of the American model with the black and white portrait of a young boy, which wears a wooden puppet as if it was a (big) necklace.
Taken at the Lee Valley Regional Park, just outside of London, the photographs are inspired by a film set and reflect the seventh art’s expressive power.
