Balenciaga AW16 campaign

Carrying heavy shopping bags in eccentric colours, sipping American coffee while waiting for someone at a business appointment, looking at oneself in any reflective surface.
These are the daily gestures chosen by Demna Gvasalia to embody the spirit of his Balenciaga woman. The images of the brand's AW16 campaign, the first since his assignment last October, were taken by Mark Borthwick and have as protagonist low profile, urban women, shot around hidden corners of Paris.
The campaign was styled by his right hand person, Russian stylist Lotta Volkova, with whom he collaborates also for his Vetements and Balenciaga Men’s collections.
