“Listen up babies. Life’s not fair. You get no say on the world you’re born into. You don’t decide your name, you don’t decide where you come from, you don’t decide if you have a place to call home or if your whole family has to leave the country”.
This is how Unlimited Future, Nike’s latest video campaign starring Bobby Cannavale, debuts. The Vynil’s actor speaks to the children that will become the future of international sport. Neymar Jr, Serena Williams, LeBron James, Mo Farah and Zhou Qi are imagined as if they were little babies, unaware of what they will become once grown up.
The moral is clear: it doesn’t matter where you come from, the important is your determination. Just do it.
