To celebrate the new Sock Dart’s innovative design, Nike has decided to collaborate with nss involving six young Milanese creative talents. Each of them wore it according to his style, expressing the relationship between the sneaker and his professional background.
But that's not all. Stay tuned to discover more about the project, that will also involve our friends at One Block Down.
FRANCESCO CHIAMULERA, PR and DJ
“To launch the new Sock Dart, I would organise a party in a white and empty attic of the Bosco Verticale in Porta Nuova, essential and futuristic. The soundtrack would include artists such as Abra, Miguel e Kamaiyah. A romantic and rythmic R&B at the same time”
ANDREA PARISI, Communication student
“The Sock Dart’s materials recall the hi-tech world. That’s why, if I had to think of a way to communicate it, I would place it in a dystopian, cyberpunk world, which combines functionality, technology and futuristic design”
TEREZA HASCAKOVA, Fashion Business student
“The Sock Dart is a sneaker which brings together functionality and aesthetic. If I had to identify its target, I would choose a public who pays attention to the latest avant-gardes in terms of style and design”
ERIKA INFANTOCCI, Stylist
“The Sock Dart is a very versatile sneaker, that’s why it can easily match many different kinds of outfit. It has a powerful look, which allows it to stand out immediately among the others”
ENYI PEÑA, Fashion designer
“If I had to revisit the Sock Dart, I would call it ‘Dart-namic’. This shoe represents the perfect balance between ergonomics and aesthetic: two concepts that don’t always get along when talking about design”
DAVIDE MARINO, Shop assistant
“The Sock Dart stands out for its innovative materials, that’s why I’d see it matched with brands which use original technical fabrics”
THOMAS CARLÀ, Photographer
“I would shoot the Sock Dart in a urban context, playing with geometries and matching them primary and complementary colours”
PETRA ANTON, Communication student
“As the new Sock Dart, my university is very dynamic, always aiming at renovating itself. It gives space to young people’s creativity, trying to understand the Milanese scene they live in”
