Craig Green is the winner of the third edition of the British Fashion Council Menswear Fund, the competition which awards the most talented emerging men’s wear designer of the year with 150.000£ (196.000€ circa).
Green debuted at London Collections: Men in 2012, the year he graduated in Fashion Design at London’s Central Saint Martins, and since that moment he’s been a constant presence within the British calendar.
“I think the brilliant thing about Craig is that he has this great reputation, he’s stocked in the best stores around the world, and he has incredible sell-through. But he’s also deeply practical on a business level. He knows where he’s going, he knows what his challenges are, and knows exactly what he’s going to do with the money—practical stuff—which is building a team and working with a mentor to take the business to the next level” said Caroline Rush, chief executive of the British Fashion Council.
We’re sure Craig will turn this prize into something extraordinary.
