New Balance Made in USA Distinct Collection

For SS16 New Balance presents a capsule collection which celebrates exploration, paying tribute to the sea through details inspired by old ships and travels.

The Made in the USA Distinct collection: Explore by Sea line includes four iconic silhouettes of the brand – the 997, 998, 1300 and 1700 – enriched with premium materials and distinctive details that show their craftsmanship: the upper is made of Horween leather in shades inspired by copper, wood and old sails. The ENCAP® and ABZORB® original technologies ensure maximum cushioning.

To promote the launch of the capsule, New Balance has worked with carpenter Jermain Todd from Saint Louis, which creates chic and eco-friendly furniture from recycled items.
