7 Bags for 7 Cities

Versace launched a competition called 7 Bags for 7 Cities, asking participants to help customise the limited editions of Palazzo Empire, the new collection's IT-bag.

Palazzo Empire is the house must-have for Spring/Summer, crafted in the finest calfskin or soft exotic leathers such as croc or python. The bag is luxurious and versatile at the same time, and the exclusive medusa head – symbol of the brand – closes it.

Beijing, Hong Kong, Milan, New York, Paris, Sao Paulo and Tokyo are the seven chosen cities. To join the competition, participants have to photograph an iconic building or a unique moment in one of those metropolis and submit the image on the contest’s website.

The brand’s design team will then pick one standout image from each city, which will be used to create seven personalised Palazzo Empire bags, limited to 10 pieces that will be sold in the Versace stores of the corresponding destinations. The seven chosen contestants will win a trip to Milan in September to attend the Versace women’s SS17 show.
