I met Alberto at SlamJam in Milan, with no doubts one of the coolest reality for the streetwear and sneaker culture in Italy and in the world. Alberto was one of the first ones to believe in my POLAROIDSNEAKSSNIPER project, that's why I will always be grateful to him.

#1 What’s the origin of your passion for sneakers and when was it born?

I was born in a district with a lot of footwear factories, Macerata, that’s why I've always heard about footwear and sneakers. I deepened the topic when I started working for SlamJam. Nowadays I don’t describe myself as a sneakerhead, but I’m really into the sneaker culture.

#2 What’s your favorite sneaker brand?

My favorite brand is Nike for sure, but lately I wear a lot of Puma. Also adidas is making a good job, both in terms of product development and communication.

#3 What’s your dream sneaker? Imagine you can create the perfect collaboration.

It would be cool if SlamJam and Nike will collaborate together again, they’re the company for which I work for and my favorite brand. I've never seen in first person a collaboration between them, that’s why I’d like to see it - from the creative process to the final realization. Maybe another Air Force 1 with handmade details and ultra rare leather.

#4 What’s your favorite emergent sneaker brand?

I don’t have a favorite one, but I believe Karhou is doing a good job. I also appreciate Casbia and its Made in Italy scenery.
