Zara launches 'Ungendered'
The genderless aesthetic goes fast fashion
March 7th, 2016
She becomes him, he becomes her. Call this genderless or gender fluidity, this is the strongest aesthetic and cultural trend of our time. It's the choice of those who don't want to be classified in gender categories, the ones who want to wear something without caring if it is made for men or women.
This unstoppable phenomenon, initially launched on the runways, has now landed in the fast fashion business with Ungendered, Zara's new clothing label.
A collection composed by eight pieces, among which shirts, hoodies, shorts, jeans and jogging pants, designed both for the male and female's silhouette. Relaxed items for everyday outfits, all pieces are in basic colours such as white, blue and different shades of grey.
