I met Yoann during Sneakerness in Paris last September. I was there to shot a photo report for nss Magazine, both for POLAROIDSNEAKSSNIPER – my format in Polaroid version – and a digital gallery of the event. It’ been a very interesting experience, I've been able to shoot ultra-rare and researched models and I’ve met many cool sneaker enthusiasts, among whom Yoann, of course.

#1 What’s the origin of your passion for sneakers and when was it born?
It started when I was very young. My brother was a basketball fan, that’s why I started to get closer to Reebok Pump and Jordan, but also Waikiki, Air Max and TN. Nowadays I feel more in a comfy mood. I’m more focused on running stuff like adidas Ultra Boost, Flyknit Racer and Sock Dart.
#2 What’s your favourite sneaker brand?
Nike will always be my first choice, but I admit adidas is making very interesting kicks, like the NMD or the Ultra Boost. Great silhouettes and cosy technologies. Asics is also cool but not even close to Nike for me.
#3 What’s your dream sneaker? Imagine you can create the perfect collab.
In this moment I’d say an adidas NMD with an Ultra Boost mid sole. Even if the NMD has the Boost technology, the cushion is not the same at all. Also the Nike Magista with Fragment Design could be awesome, in navy tones of course!
#4 What’s your favourite emergent sneaker brand?
Diadora! I don’t have any pair of them, but the quality is great and they made a lot of cool collaborations during this year (2015, ndr).
