Nike introduces the innovative Tech Knit collection
Created with the athletes' contribution
January 22nd, 2016
Nike has created a new collection for the Nike Tech Pack line, which combines traditional craftsmanship with modern technology.
The brand has once again added modern elements and technology without compromising its design and the collection is based precisely on this union between design and functionality.
The items have been developed using the latest discoveries in terms of thermoregulation, with the help of computer programmers and knitting machine technicians to develop the next generation of technical knitwear.
Made of nylon-cotton blend, the collection has been designed to allow athletes to improve ventilation, breathability, warmth and comfort. The product has also been developed with the help of the athletes themselves, as explained by the brand: "Nike designers seek inspiration from history and the places, traveling the world to tap into global culture and current trends. Then, they synthesize their discoveries in innovative designs made every day available to athletes, to support them both in sport and in everyday life routine".
The protagonists of the new Nike campaign are in fact Alex Morgan, the Baby Horse of the National Women's Soccer in the United States, gold medal at the London Olympics; LeBron James, who thanks to his extraordinary physical gifts is one of the best champion of recent years, and has just signed an "agreement to life" with Nike; Maria Sharapova, Russian tennis player who excels in the women's circuit for the competitive spirit and strength as well physical and mental.
Available starting from February 4.
