Raf Simons is the most googled designer of 2015
The rest of the chart is quite surprising
December 17th, 2015
Google has released today its trend report which monitors annually the most clicked people and things on the search engine. Among the categories taken into consideration there’s everything: from musicians to diets, from movies to celebrity weddings, passing of course through fashion designers.
Guess who’s been the most googled one of 2015?
Clues: he recently left the helm of a historic French house and has been the protagonist of a documentary directed by Frédéric Cheng.
You got it: it’s Raf Simons, who’s been very talked about this year. The ones that follow are definitely more surprising: Shoshanna Lonstein Gruss (if you never heard about her, she’s the creative director of American brand “Shoshanna”), Italian designer Giambattista Valli, Thakoon Panichgul, Tadashi Shoji and Elie Saab.
Karl Lagerfeld appears only at number 7, followed by Christian Lacroix, Zuhair Murad and Tommy Hilfiger.
So, in the top ten there’s no Prada, no Versace and no Gucci, which is weird since Alessandro Michele really gave new life to the name of the Florentine brand.
The most googled “fashion questions” instead, don't surprise us that much. At number one we find the classic: “How to walk in heels?”
