From December 2015 to February 2016 the Parisian Grand Palais dedicates a retrospective to Louis Vuitton: Volez, Voguez, Voyagez.
The exhibition, curated by Olivier Saillard, retraces the history of the French brand from 1954 to today, through a series of brilliant portraits which star everyone who contributed to the success of Louis Vuitton over the time: from its founders to the contemporary faces who are creating the future of the house nowadays.
The Grand Palais in not a new destination to Louis Vuitton: in 1900, on the occasion of the Universal Exposition, George Vuitton was in charge of organizing the entire section dedicated to Travel accessories and leather goods, which sounds like something extremely modern considering the leadership the brand is still holding in the sector.
The exhibition will be structured in 9 chapters, just like a tale. A unique occasion to live again the history of one of the most powerful fashion houses of the world, in the city where it was founded.
