Acne Studios AW15 campaign stars a special new face ask the brand’s founder

Have you seen Acne Studios womenswear AW15 latest fashion campaign? If the protagonist seems a new face to you, it’s because it’s Frasse, the 11 year-old son of Jonny Johansson, founder and designer of the Swedish brand.

The choice is not just a family matter: “I’ve seen this new generation’s attitude to fashion where the cut, the shape and the character of the garment is the crucial thing, rather then seeking approval from society or to follow set norms. I immediately pictured Frasse, since he embodies this new breed to me. I asked him and I’m happy that he wanted to be a part of the campaign” explains Johansson.

 

In the images the boy poses wearing women’s clothes and futurist accessories: “It doesn’t matter to me if it is ‘girl’ clothes or ‘boy’ clothes, I don’t really feel that there is a difference” said Frasse. But then he admits: “Heels are hard to walk in though”!
