The best of Haute Couture in the past 20 years
Give me five
July 7th, 2015
The Parisian haute couture week is still one of the few moments in the fashion calendar which allows us to daydream and that really gives space to creativity in spite of the commercial dynamics which dominate the read-to-wear universe.
Some of these items lie outside the mere concept of fashion products: they are closer to works of art or to stage costumes.
In conjunction with the haute couture week in Paris these days, we present you five of the most significant moments in couture of the past 20 years:
#1 The collection inspired by Alice in Wonderland at John Galliano x Christian Dior AW06
#2 The collection inspired by the victims of Jack The Ripper at Alexander McQueen AW06
#3 The enchanted garden of Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel SS15
#4 The xperiments on human body of Iris Van Herpen AW14 show
#5 Naomi Campbell like Mother Nature for Jean Paul Gaultier SS15 show
