Givenchy is moving its next show to New York
Riccardo Tisci takes it seriously
June 30th, 2015
On the occasion of the opening of the new Givenchy store in New York, Riccardo Tisci decided to move its show there for a season.
The last store of the brand in NY was closed in 2006, when Tisci joined Givenchy, but this is going to change: the new boutique will be set along the prestigious Madison Avenue and will have a surface of almost 500 square meters.
Curiosity: the women's show SS16 will be held on September 11th - date which ratifies this year the 14th anniversary of the terrorist attack to the Twin Towers - under the art direction of Marina Abramovic. “It's a very delicate day for America” stated Tisci, “and so the show is going to be a celebration of family and love." Save the date.
