Virgil Abloh x SSense and Pierre Debuscherre
Before and after

Gordon Lightfoot sings "Oh Linda". An old stone building. Skaters. A gang of indolent rebels dressed in white.
They jump on mattresses covered with colored powders and transform their clothes in kaleidoscopic colored canvas.
This is "Before and After", video that accompanies the eponymous capsule collection created by OFF-WHITE with the online retailer SSENSE and fashion photographer Pierre Debusschere.
The designer Virgil Abloh tells so this new project: " The clothing was created at a 50% capacity, and only after we did the film would the 100% identity of the clothing be finished. And thatís the concept not only of the film, but of the clothes. I work on the silhouettes, fabrics, and details, and then, through the process of making the film, the color gets applied."
The creative, in fact, has reworked some clothes, strictly white, from his summer line spraying them with paint.
Each piece becomes unique and unrepeatable, customized uniform.
Sweatshirts, jackets and torn t-shirt are unisex, he explains the designer of OFF-WHITE: " I find something extremely powerful in my generationís women wearing menís clothing. Itís a sign of the times that I want to underline".
Abloh confirms himself an eclectic, clear headed, contemporary talent.
