SLAM JAM X CARHARTT WIP - Boom Town Slickers 25th Anniversary Collection

An honest and careful observation of the world, of its subcultures, of their developments and of the trends that they were able to create, often unconsciously. The primordial aspects of the change: observed, listened and then scrupulously annotated. The desire, the curiosity and the enthusiasm to go further, to understand, to investigate. The putting together all of the pieces of a puzzle which has no geographical boundaries or time limits. 25 years of time to do everything: and yes, Slam Jam has done it. It's not so easy building a 360° background on the whole society, right?

For its twenty-fifth anniversary, Slam Jam has teamed up with Carhartt WIP - its faithful traveling companion - for a very interesting project. The two companies have worked under the creative direction of the British designer Andrew Bunney and have created a collection of 25 pieces in five releases: "Putty Canvas", "Denim", "Reflective", "Bandana" and "Chase Thermal ". The first garments, of the "Putty Canvas" line - which includes the Lincoln S.K. Short, the Simple Tote, the Michigan Coat, the Santa Fe Jacket and a new type of jeans, the Klodine Pant - will be pre-launched on February 20 at the Slam Jam in Milan and Machine-A in London stores and online on SlamJamSocialism.com and Carhartt-WIP.com. Each collection will then be available at Carhartt Store and at all selected retailers on the 25th of each month, starting from February 25 with "Putty Canvas".

Open your eyes: the future is around the corner - but there's no rush, we'll talk about it in 25 years.
