The new era is about to begin.

Monday around the tea time Galliano debuts for Margiela. The designer leaves Paris and chooses London to start over. This is not simply a return. It's a new beginning. Certainly it is that so for Galliano, but it is also for MMM.

L 'enfant terrible has survived four years of exile from the world of fashion, to a scandal racist, addiction to alcohol and is now ready to start again.

When in October was appointed artistic director Renzo Rosso, president of OTB, the company that owns the trademark had greeted him with these words: "Margiela is ready for a new charismatic creative soul. John Galliano is one of the greatest, undisputed talents of all time. A unique, exceptional couturier for a Maison that always challenged and innovated the world of fashion. I look forward to his return to create that fashion dream that only he can create, and wish him to here find his new home."

And it's true. The house of Belgian fashion designer choosing a so cumbersome definitely abandoned the strategy of anonymity that has characterized since its foundation and heads towards a new future.

How conciliate the conceptual deconstruction Nordic overflowing with personality Galliano? Will bow his inspiration to the philosophy Margiela happen or the opposite?
