Sofia Coppola Goes Normal For Gap's Holiday Ads

Sofia Coppola directs the normality of Christmas in the second series of short films by cult directors for the Dress normal campaign of Gap, in fact, the first consisted of four black and white videos directed by David Fincher

In the "Gauntlet," "Mistletoe," "Crooner" and "Pinball" there is everything: family gatherings, friends, love, awkward characters and karaoke.

Above all there is the simple and delicate touch that characterizes all the work of the director, as well as a sophisticated choice of music, from "I Got Stripes" by Johnny Cash to "Cry" by Johnnie Ray.

"Sofia has brilliantly translated Gapís snapshots of these authentic family characters to the screen," says Seth Farbman, head of global marketing office of the American brand, "Sofia is a great fashion icon and helped us bring our fashion themes to life alongside the storytelling of family fun for the festive season."

Coppola emphasizes the idea of normality that has always been dear to Gap, sublimating the normcore trend of this last period, because, continues to tell Farbman " individualism and the liberation that comes from confidently being your most authentic self instructs individuals to shape their own authentic, personal style".

Sofia Coppola and Gap offer the thrill of being normal, almost losers, 100% human, because so much "You do not have to get them to give them Gap".
