James Long SS14 Collection

James Long, London-based designer graduated from the Royal College of Art, has earned since its debut  the entry into the circle of the most exciting emerging talents.

Now with "Beyond the Velodrome", proposal for spring-summer 2014, Long explores the territory of sport, specially that of cycling. It 's a collection with vibrant tones that grows on contrasts of materials, symmetries and asymmetries of soft volumes and other dry. Denim is rubberized skin coexists with satin fabrics such as nylon and lycra with classic knits and silk.

The body is the center, the focus around which Long thinks and creates each garment, from bomber jackets, to shorts, through the t-shirts with stripes. James Long achieves a power, vibrant line, taking the best from the world of sport and turning this inspiration in a current collection and sophisticated.
