1950's, the years after the war with the desire of reconstruction. The years of Cinquecento, Bianchina, Vespa and Lambretta . The years of television. The years of Rossellini, Fellini and De Sica. The years of long skirts, polka dots, corsets, Emilio Pucci and the Fontana sisters.
The years of the sweet life .
Chiara Ferragni was inspired by this for her SS 2014 line, which includes a variety of sandals, ballet shoes, slippers, boots in pastel colors, snakeskin and glitters.
The collection includes sandals that celebrate the Italian tradition, bringing words and images typical of the tricolor culture; ballet shoes on which it appears Matilda, the famous dog of Chiara and again, a lot of stylish shoes to get noticed in the most important occasions.
For the campaign, Chiara Ferragni chose the Director and Fashion Photographer Justin Wu, who has been able to recreate a neo-realist atmosphere with the photos and the video.
