Shaun Samson FW 2013 Collection
Exaggerated volumes
January 20th, 2014
Californian designer and other talent from the Central Saint Martins, Shaun Samson is one of the most interesting names of the moment. His street style, characterized by exaggerated volumes, overlap and t-shirts manifest evolves from season to season, succeeding, in the fw 2013 collection, to translate the dreams of Samson in fashion.
Monsters, prayers, hockey and camping become protagonists of fabrics, cuts and shapes, creating a figure that moves to the beat of hip-hop, wearing loose clothes, like pajamas, and bring a blanket lying on his shoulder. The young American talent mixes angora with jersey, tricot and details in leather or fur, experiences a felting technique that eliminates seams from the clothes.
With this collection Samson elevates street style to a dignified, but always modern, elegance which is confirmed by a designer to watch.
