90s. Seattle. Music, grunge, Kurt Cobain and his mohair cardigans, proving that even a such classic fabric can be rock 'n' roll. Transforming knitting into a rebel thing is the idea that features the debut of the brand Rico.
It’s the photograph of a moment, of an era of interior revolutions, now more relevant than ever, combined with that of the 80s and hardcore punk becomes inspiration. The two collections, male and female, are a natural extension of the other, sharing philosophy, colors and quality fabrics. Rebel and current the first follows two roads: one vintage influence, the other more sporty. Geometry , color block, knitted wool cable knit, irregular silhouette, make knitting an underground item. The female proposal is the natural extension of the man line , it’s almost a mini capsules that reinterprets the codes and suggestions.
