Dagda FW 2013 Collection
Skipping school
October 18th, 2013
Dagda is a collective formed by three persons who met while studying at Polimoda in Florence. After moving to London the designers found their label Dagda, a word of Celtic origin meaning "the good god". In the British capital they found an unconventional and full of inspirations environment, ideal to help in the creative process. The fashion of this collective tells a story, a surreal and romantic one, in which to experiment with different techniques and materials. “Skipping school” is the name of the autumn-winter collection, made by dreams of youthful rebellion, innocent fight against rules and constraints, searching for freedom and identity. So the clothes are original, full of decorations, pom poms and ruffles, like snow that makes them downright quirky, but also romantic. Dagda is synonymous with unconventional beauty, a style that has won over the singer Kate Nash.
