Amit Baruch ama collezionare cose. Cartoline, un paio di vecchie scarpe, un vestito scovato infondo all’armadio, un barattolo vuoto, un libro antico, qualsiasi oggetto che racconti una storia e per questo motivo, è perfetto. Londinese, con origini israeliane, è guidato ed ispirato dal concetto di senza tempo.

Nasce proprio da qui Beautiful objects, proposta di menswear con la quale ha recentemente debuttato al Fashionclash di Maastricht. Baruch crea abiti sartoriali, dalle linee classiche e pulite, nei toni pallidi di giallo, oro, verde oliva, da indossare uno sopra l’altro. Se le silhouettes sono lineari, il compito di rendere eccentrica questa collezione è affidato alle stampe. Motivi tapestry, fiori, gatti, scritte e persino la Gioconda animano i tessuti, trasformando ogni creazione in un pezzo unico e prezioso. La cosa più originale? Una casetta di legno portaoggetti come zaino.
