Lazy Oaf SS 2013 Capsule Collection

La label londinese Lazy Oaf si unisce a Nasty Gal, mega store losangelino, per creare insieme una capsule collection.

E’ una linea composta da 20 pezzi divertenti, allegri e coloratissimi, come gli oggetti da cui traggono ispirazione: le caramelle, i cartoons, gli stickers, i fiori e tutto ciò che è bizzarro. I veri protagonisti della collezione sono gli anni ’90, con i loro mix ‘n match tra stampe diverse, gli abitini ultracorti e la finta trasandatezza. Al bando le tinte unite, sono le stampe che catturano l’attenzione: angurie, arcobaleni, fiori, hamburger, dinosauri, gatti. Gemma Shiel, designer di Lazy Oaf, sceglie per il lookbook la modella Jessica Clarke ed il fotografo Viktor Vauthier. I due mettono in scena una festa per gli occhi, un mondo adolescenziale e giocoso, allegro e spensierato, da cui traspare una sensualità gioiosa.

It 'a line composed of 20 funny, cheerful and colorful pieces, like the things from which they take inspiration: candies, cartoons, stickers, flowers and all that is bizarre. The real stars of the collection are the 90s, with their mix 'n match between different prints, the ultra-short dresses and pretend sloppiness. Ban solid colors, prints are eye-catching: watermelons, rainbows, flowers, burgers, dinosaurs, cats. Gemma Shiel, designer of Lazy Oaf, chooses for the lookbook Jessica Clarke and photographer Viktor Vauthier. Both stage a feast for the eyes, a teenage and playful, happy and carefree world, which shows a joyful sensuality.
