The Copenhagen Fashion Week FW25 lineup is here Between new names and regulars

The AW25 season is approaching, and Copenhagen Fashion Week has unveiled its line-up of 36 brands that will be featured in the official calendar in January 2025. This event, scheduled from January 27 to 31, 2025, will showcase both established leaders and emerging innovators, both internationally and from the Nordic region. Among the most anticipated new additions, Bonnetje joins the CPHFW NEWTALENT program, alongside Alectra Rothschild / MASCULINA, Stamm, and Berner Kühl. Returning brands like Skall Studio, Henrik Vibskov, Saks Potts, and Marimekko will also be present, along with a curated selection of new names that will enrich the four days of shows and presentations. The presence of renowned Nordic brands alongside international innovators further emphasizes the prominent position that Copenhagen Fashion Week holds in the global fashion calendar. This balanced mix of local and global talent confirms the event's growing importance as an international platform for contemporary fashion. “I am very excited to announce a brand line-up that represents both some of the major Nordic leaders in fashion and some of our most iconic names returning to the schedule,” said Cecilie Thorsmark, CEO of Copenhagen Fashion Week.

The 36 selected brands for the AW25 edition have been approved by the official show and presentation committee. Additionally, these brands are participating in the pilot project for the new Sustainability Requirements framework, giving them the opportunity to test and implement required actions that will come into effect during 2025. Thorsmark states that “Copenhagen Fashion Week is proud to continue to strengthen, and it is through the ongoing dedication of our brand community and wider network that we are able to grow and pave the way for a more positive future in fashion.” For AW25, the CPHFW NEWTALENT program will include four brands: in addition to Berner Kühl, Stamm, and Alectra Rothschild / MASCULINA continuing from last season, Bonnetje joins the program. Brands that are part of CPHFW NEWTALENT receive support for three consecutive seasons through financial assistance, mentorship, partnership offers, professional consulting, and more. This support also includes placement in the official Copenhagen Fashion Week show and presentation calendar, participation in events, showroom activations, access to an alumni network, and extensive PR through Copenhagen Fashion Week’s international community and channels. Subsequently, each designer will transition to the alumni program, continuing to benefit from the established network.
