Running Down a Dream, the new collection of Laboratorio Riciclo Pelle
With an apposite pop-up store on 9 and 10 November
October 31st, 2024
On November 9 and 10, 2024, Milan is set to welcome the new collection of Laboratorio Riciclo Pelle with a pop-up store and exhibition that promises to be a unique experience. This collection represents a completely new chapter for the brand, which, learning from the past, aims determinedly toward the future. The new campaign involves many of the people who collaborate with the brand, along with long-time clients and friends, captured in a striking car-wrecking yard in the Venice area. This emblematic location belongs to a longtime friend of the brand's founder, Giovanni Mareschi, and offers an ideal backdrop that reflects the essence of the collection. The setting is no coincidence: the collection evokes the imagery of a car journey, made up of music, long roads, tools, and fears, reflecting both a physical and emotional journey.
True to its name, every piece is made with recycled leather from production waste. The garments are mostly one-of-a-kind pieces, depending on the availability of the selected leather, giving each item an exclusive and unique character. This focus on sustainability does not compromise the quality or luxury of the products but rather enhances them through a unique and eco-sustainable design. The pop-up store will not only showcase the new collection but also display the brand's "The Essentials" line. Highlights include the iconic "Marasso Belt", available in various sizes, and the distinctive vest "The Shooter," often worn by Italian singers, along with new styles that expand the brand's offerings. The brand firmly believes in the importance of recycling and reusing, promoting a sustainable production system with no waste, and with the intention of creating an eco-friendly fashion environment. Collaboration with local expert artisans has enabled the creation of accessories like their signature, the “Marasso Buckle,” a symbol of the union between tradition and innovation.
