Budapest Select talents in the spotlight during Milan Fashion Week Following the success of BCEFW, emerging Central European designers presented their collections

Between August and September, the fourteenth edition of the Budapest Central European Fashion Week took place. After the success of the SS25 collections by many emerging brands from Central Europe, the Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency (HFDA) decided to bring a selection of Hungarian fashion, design, and beauty brands to the Milan Fashion Week under the umbrella brand Budapest Select. In a multisensory event held on September 19th – with the help of the Italian National Chamber of Fashion – the designers had the opportunity to showcase their collections in the special context of Milan Fashion Week. Fashion brands like NANUSHKA and BORBALA and artists and designers like &Famke, Anna Cserba, and Balázs Veres offered the audience a 360° sensory experience.

The Budapest Select presentation offers a unique experience to discover a world of unexpected creativity. Generations of fashion brands seamlessly merge with the works of Hungarian designers and artists, complemented by beauty experiences and flavors of Hungarian cuisine, all to the rhythm of music, creating a vibrant and immersive atmosphere that captures the eclectic energy of Budapest Select. As stated by Zsófia Jakab - CEO of the Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency - the opportunity to showcase Hungarian talents at an independent venue during MFW marks the achievement of a major goal, bringing Hungarian brands to a new level. According to Jakab: «Budapest Select is more than just a brand: it is a movement that embraces multicultural influences and celebrates the best of both worlds, a combination of East and West. By living this experience, you are invited to explore the eclectic energy, a connection with the beating heart of contemporary Hungarian creativity.»
