Everyone is an icon. Showing up in their style, doing things their way, the Dsquared2 Icon way. For Fall Winter 2024 the brand presents the new Icon New Generation collection, taking the main line’s contemporary spirit a step forward with textured materials and modern shapes. Defining the Icon New Generation pieces is the new sloped logo, a modern visual code which appears on ready-to-wear and accessories in a palette of black, white and camel. Sculpted, oversize silhouettes include women’s cropped nylon jackets and hooded sweatshirts in black and camel, and curved washed blue denim jeans. Men’s matte leather and glossy nylon jackets are styled with baggy black denim shorts and pants. Teddy faux fur in camel is cut into a hooded sweatshirt, shorts and combined with rubber in thick-soled boots. The same soft caramel shade is found in cotton canvas wide pants with cargo pockets.
Backpacks and belt bags are in puffy nylon or faux sheepskin teddy fabric feature the sloped Icon New Generation logo, the teddy fabric with an embroidered cream logo. Women’s bags include a maxi hold-all in shiny nylon or cotton fleece, and a rounded hobo shape in black or beige leather, the sloped Icon logo appearing in a subtle tone-on-tone design on the side. Men’s and women’s baseball hats in brushed fleece or gaberdine reveal a rubberized logo, or in a logo in embossed effect on jersey designs. Other accessories include mittens, bucket hats, a padded hooded hat to keep out the chill, and a belt with an enameled Icon logo. Icon New Generation’s sneaker “Puffer” is a 90s-inspired men’s and women’s design. It is crafted in pliable, black or white leather with exaggerated, bubble-like volume, rounded shape, a padded tongue and thick sole.
