How the launch of Dolce&Gabbana and Havaianas' capsule in Milan went

Last night at Palazzo Cordusio, the launch event of the collaboration between Dolce&Gabbana and Havaianas took place, drawing a large crowd of friends and fans of both brands, including top models Alton Mason and Bianca Balti. The atmosphere was perfect to welcome the beginning of summer: a terrace on the rooftops of Milan during the golden hour, dishes of paccheri, as well as setups and decorations that told of the perfect mix between Italian and Brazilian culture signed by the two brands with their capsule: a series of exclusive flip-flops in whose design Brazilian and Italian cultures meet in the name of color and exuberance. Since their launch in 1962, Havaianas flip-flops have been a symbol of vibrancy, comfort, and a summer vibe so powerful that they have become a worldwide phenomenon. For this collaboration, Dolce&Gabbana adopted the same philosophy, creating four different models based on some of the most iconic prints from the brand's archives.
The classic and bold soul of the Leopard print and the black and white of the Zebra characterize the “Classics” models. The brightness of the white and blue of the majolica and the colorful decorations of the Sicilian tradition are instead the motifs that adorn the two 'Icons' models Blu Mediterraneo and Carretto Siciliano. Each product features a printed velvet finish on the straps, a metallic Havaianas logo, and a Dolce&Gabbana pearl pin. Even the packaging of the new sandals is dressed in the purest Dolce&Gabbana style, alternating matte surfaces, metallic prints, and gold touches, offering a luxurious experience even before wearing the flip-flops.
