Among the many elements that make Milanese aperitivo a collective ritual, there is a cocktail that has come to represent the cultural scene of Milan to drink: the Bombay&Tonic. An unmistakable flavored cocktail that has accompanied the winters and summers of generations of bon vivants and creatives who have populated the city for years. For this reason, starting from December 10th, the iconic blue bottle of Bombay Sapphire transforms into a celebration of the artistic scene in Milan through four extraordinary murals, strategically distributed in the most vibrant places in the city. This initiative, signed by four of the top Italian street artists, aims to narrate the creative world behind the famous Bombay&Tonic cocktail, perhaps the most beloved in Milan to drink for generations.

The story and identity of Bombay Sapphire, with their invitation to unleash each person's creativity, become the protagonists of works signed by Giulio Rosk, EricsOne, the OrticaNoodles collective, and Nicholas Perra. These artists have chosen four emblematic scenarios of nightlife and aperitivo in Milan, a city always at the forefront of trends and artistic innovation for a creative journey of the city's most beloved locations. Each of them, inspired by a fundamental characteristic of the famous Bombay & Tonic cocktail, has reinterpreted the iconic blue bottle of Bombay Sapphire in a unique way, bringing with it a touch and identity that enhance the individuality and harmonious diversity of the artists involved.

The murals celebrate various aspects of Bombay Sapphire: the sustainable botanicals of the gin, the unmistakable sapphire blue color of the bottle, and the freshness and sparklingness of the brand's iconic cocktail. Every detail is designed to emphasize the uniqueness and quality of the gin, from the botanicals carefully distilled by the brand's Master of Botanicals, the Italian Alessandro Garneri, to the sensory liveliness of the cocktail itself, which has represented the refreshment and relaxation of the Milanese cocktail hour for decades. In the Navigli district,  the OrticaNoodles collective created a mural on Via Casale, representing the sophisticated fizz of the gin, vividly portraying the numerous nuances that emerge from the steam infusion of botanicals. In Garibaldi, another key point of the city's nightlife, EricsOne has depicted the verve and effervescence of the cocktail through a profusion of stars. This visual representation symbolizes the harmony between gin and premium tonic water, capable of offering round and enveloping flavors.

Then there is the area of Parco Sempione, with the mural on Via Canonica 37 signed by Gulio Rosk, using hyperrealism to pay homage to the 10 botanicals that give the gin its distinctive aroma. In the work, the individual elements of the botanicals almost seem to come to life to tell the intrinsic goodness of the symbolic cocktail of the United Kingdom (Winston Churchill himself was a big fan). Finally, Nicholas Perra, with the mural on Via de Castilla, in the pulsating heart of Isola, celebrated the sapphire blue shades of the Bombay Sapphire bottle with abstract images that aim to celebrate the iconicity of the color of Bombay Sapphire, interacting with the urban fabric of the neighborhood.

The project aims, as Chiara Pedraglio, Brand Manager of Bombay Sapphire, has also emphasized, not only to tell the story of an iconic product with a long history but also to emphasize its constant presence in moments of leisure and joy in the liveliest metropolis in Italy, making the murals "an integral part of the city of Milan." The celebration does not stop only with the four virtuosos of street art called to represent different neighborhoods but also urges spectators to find inspiration to create their own "Bombay&" and discover their artistic talent: an invitation addressed to everyone, without distinction, to unleash their creativity and embrace a new perspective on the surrounding world.
