ZEGNA x The Elder Statesman has finally arrived
Not just cashmere, this is Oasi Cashmere
September 6th, 2023
ZEGNA and The Elder Statesman's collection is finally here, and the two brands have created a dedicated campaign with an exceptional protagonist: actor Daniel Brühl, who was already spotted at the brand's last two fashion shows. This partnership also places special emphasis on Oasi Cashmere, a platform that promotes culture and responsibility in an evolving world starting with technical innovation. Following the debut of the collection last February in Paris, guided by their shared passion for craftsmanship, the two brands celebrated the excellence of materials and nature starting with the material they turned into a highlight of their respective lines: cashmere, reinterpreted with vibrant colors, original patterns, rich textures and soft cuts. To celebrate the launch, ZEGNA's new flagship store, located on Rodeo Drive, will be exclusively customized to celebrate the launch of the collection. In addition, an exclusive event is planned at Maxfield in Los Angeles, followed by a gala evening at Hollywood Hills on September 6. This event will be just the first in a series of events, with the collection to be presented in Chengdu and Singapore thereafter.
The filming of the campaign starring Daniel Brühl was carried out in the historic Lanificio Zegna, in the heart of the Oasi Zegna natural territory, a 100 km² sanctuary in the Italian Alps. This is the place that embodies ZEGNA's core values, where every detail, from the last button to the smallest thread, is still handmade today. «Ermenegildo Zegna's vision, handed down by the founder more than 100 years ago, continues today. Oasi Zegna is a place where nature and the people who live and work there are respected and appreciated», said Brühl. This partnership goes beyond fashion and extends to ZEGNA's philosophy on sustainability and responsibility. Oasi Cashmere, at the heart of this collaboration, is a platform that aims to promote progressive and sustainable cultures and visions. ZEGNA has committed to certifying Oasi Cashmere fibers as 100 percent traceable by 2024, demonstrating a concrete commitment to a more sustainable future.
