Continuing the commitment inaugurated last year during On Forest, the event created to explore the intersection between design and the environment, Prada Frames will return to the stage from 17 to 19 April. Moving from Hong Kong to Milan for a themed event called Materials in Flux, various encounters around topics of sustainability and aesthetics will intertwine for three days at the Teatro Filodrammatici, offering the public a unique opportunity to discuss how creativity can be a driving force even in the field of low environmental impact production.

Presented at the Accademia dei Filodrammatici, one of Milan's oldest theatres, this multidisciplinary symposium takes inspiration from the work of British anthropologist Tim Ingold and his research exploring materials as constantly changing entities, investigating themes such as waste, the infrastructure that characterizes it, and the relationship between that and the ecosystem in which we live. The space in which Prada Frames will take shape will be an evocative backdrop closely linked to the brand's imagery, thanks to the building's liberty architectural style and the interiors designed in the 1960s by architect Luigi Caccia Dominioni. Alongside Ingold, an extensive list of academics will be featured, including Elizabeth Povinelli, Beatriz Colomina, Mark Wigley, Sophie Chao, Veena Sahajwalla, and Hans Ulrich Obrist.

Admission to Prada Frames Milan is free but with limited availability, subject to registration at prada.com from 6 April.
