Goldwin 0's latest collection focuses on circular fashion
"Chance Encounters" celebrates sustainability and technological progress
March 24th, 2023
A waterfall, a forest, and a sustainable clothing line. Goldwin 0's new campaign, created for the launch of the SS23 collection, immortalises the encounter between man and nature in Japan, a symbiotic relationship combining sustainability and progress. Since its foundation, the experimental platform Goldwin 0 has been testing the limits of creativity by playing with collaborations and connections, with the ultimate aim of interweaving art and science. This year, through the invention of fabrics such as Spiber Brewed ProteinTM fibre, Pertex 3 and 3D WHOLEGARMENT technology, the brand once again demonstrates that it is a true promoter of circularity, the new frontier of sustainable fashion.
Dyed in the colours of the Japanese forests, the SS23 collection of the Goldwin 0 project introduces garments such as the Back-Pack Vest, which combines fibres of vegetable origin in the core of the fabric, and then T-shirts, trousers and shorts made with WHOLEGARMENT, the production method that knows how to weave into a single seamless knit fibres of Japanese washi paper and polyester, materials that guarantee rapid drying to withstand the most extreme outdoor activities. Like these, the denim of the limited edition suit supports Goldwin 0's sustainability goals. Called Spiber Brewed ProteinTM, the fermentation process of this fabric uses microorganisms instead of fossil fuels.
