Loro Piana inaugurates a new factory in Marche

Loro Piana has announced the opening of a new production centre in the Marche town of Porto San Giorgio, dedicated exclusively to shoe manufacturing. The plant, located in the town's industrial centre, is planned with a reduced environmental impact, and aims to pass on Loro Piana's savoir-faire through careful modernisation, thanks to the use of advanced technologies that will work alongside the expert hands of master craftsmen. 

The new workshop will host Loro Piana employees for the creation of the iconic White Sole, the shoes with a distinctive line that over the years have asserted the brand's unique style thanks to the inimitable customisable white sole, made from natural rubber and technical elements, designed on the brand's two classic models Open Walk and Summer Walk. The lace-less ankle boot with wrap-around elastic and the summer moccasins with their sporty elegance will thus be able to be declined on even more styles, to fit perfectly between generations and new trends, and best preserve the Loro Piana brand heritage, a theme also taken up by the brand's new advertising campaign. With the help of new machinery and continuous experimentation, in the new plant in the Marche region, White Sole will discover new comfort and practicality, all the while maintaining its unmistakable timeless elegance and maritime origins, from the customisation of the sole to its non-slip nature.
