Saucony celebrated its 125th anniversary at Paris Fashion Week
Between celebrations and exclusive previews
January 25th, 2023
The year 2023 is a milestone for Saucony, a footwear brand founded in 1898 that recently celebrated 125 years of tradition, innovation and design. To kick off Paris Fashion Week, Saucony returned to the House of Originals (138 Rue Du Temple) to present key previews for SS23 and FW23, never-before-seen archive models and an exclusive preview of the season's collaborations. The SS23 collection was inspired by the brand's archive, taking key Saucony silhouettes and evolving them with innovative technologies. Paris Fashion Week was the stage where the brand unveiled the first new products of the season to the public: the ProGrid Triumph 4 Gorpcore (from mid-January) and the Sonic Spot-bilt (from mid-February), anticipating part of what is to come in 2023.
«As we celebrate the brand's 125th anniversary, Saucony's history is undoubtedly a big page to turn», said Anne Cavassa, president of Saucony. «This year is special for us, an opportunity to reflect on the achievements of the last 125 years and celebrate our unwavering commitment to innovation and authenticity», added Brian Moore, Senior Vice President of Global Product at Saucony. «When we innovate, we elevate not only the brand, but also the runner and their running experience. With our rich heritage and innovative teams around the world, we are ready to write the next great chapter in our brand's great story».
