Brain Dead story becomes a book
Available from October 4 in two editions
October 3rd, 2022
Founded in 2014 in Los Angeles by Kyle Ng and Ed Davis, over the past eight years Brain Dead has been able to establish itself as one of the most iconic names in the American city's alternative scene. Able to collaborate with pop-culture institutions such as Marvel and Magic The Gathering and with brands such as Kiko Kostadinov, Dickies, The North Face, and A.P.C., the brand's story will be told in a book published by Rizzoli that will explore its birth and development through its work with artists, musicians, designers, and filmmakers.
Made with inspiration from the zines of underground culture, the book collects all the creations made by Brain Dead throughout its history, a window into a part of Los Angeles culture and beyond. The book, available Oct. 4, will arrive in two different versions: the first, with a blue and pink cover, will be available for purchase in limited quantities at wearebraindead.com and in the brand's flagship stores, while a second with a yellow and green cover will be sold near select stores.
