Alexander McQueen chose Paolo Roversi for FW22 campaign
Chiaroscuri on studs and leather
August 31st, 2022
On October 11, Alexander McQueen will return to the runway - once again, the choice is to disregard the official fashion week calendars - in London. For the new campaign for the FW22 collection, the brand chose to rely on the lens of Paolo Roversi. Sarah Burton's clothes were catapulted into a dreamlike atmosphere, marked by detailed attention to chiaroscuro.
The chosen models - Awar Odhiang, Lucia Fairfull, Florence Nicholls, Celina Ralph, Wang Han, and Achenrin Madit - look like living sculptures, while the looks range from super tight sheath dresses to leather jumpsuits, without sacrificing the iconic studded accessories or garish hues that are deftly translated into plays of light and shadow by Paolo Roversi's photography.
